Jerzy Rokicki, MD, PhD
Jerzy Rokicki, MD, PhD, attended Rice University for undergraduate training in biomedical engineering. He was the recipient of the Rice Century Scholarship and the George R. Brown Engineering Award. Dr.Rokicki received his MD and PhD from Tulane University School of Medicine.
His doctoral work focused on elucidating intracellular signaling of a novel receptor tyrosine kinase in breast cancer. Dr. Rokicki’s research interests included neuro-oncology and stem cells.
He began neurosurgery residency at UF in July 2011 and is scheduled to finish in 2018. During his elective year he completed an enfolded complex spine fellowship with Dr. Ghogawala at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, MA.
Dr. Rokicki enjoys travelling, hiking, and exploring Florida with his wife in his free time.
