Kaitlyn Melnick, MD

Kaitlyn Melnick, MD grew up in Wyoming, Delaware. She earned a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Delaware in 2013. While there, she began working as a Teaching Assistant for courses in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society and graduated Cum Laude.

Dr. Melnick attended medical school at Sidney Kimmel Medical College (formerly Jefferson Medical College) in Philadelphia, PA. She was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) as a junior and graduated magna cum laude. Continuing her passion for education, Dr. Melnick worked during medical school as a tutor for the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT). Additionally, she developed study and practice materials for the MCAT and NBME Shelf Exams.

Kaitlyn began her neurosurgical training at the University of Florida in 2017 and is scheduled to complete her training in 2024. Outside of medicine, Dr. Melnick enjoys spending time with her husband, son, parents, and dogs.
