Anindita “Mishti” Chakraborty, MD received her medical degree from the University of Florida in May 2011. She began her residency in Neurosurgery at UF in July 2011 and is scheduled to graduate in June 2018. She is currently interested in cerebrovascular neurosurgery and undergraduate medical education.
Dr. Chakraborty attended Harvard University where she received her B.A. in Biological Anthropology, with a focus on endocrinology. She returned to complete her MD at the University of Florida where she participated in multiple medical mission trips to Peru and the Dominican Republic.
After completing her undergraduate studies, she deferred medical school to spend a year working in the Child In Need Institute, a public health institution based out of Calcutta, India.
In her spare time she enjoys biking, music, and photography.
