Linda Kephart Fallon is a native Floridian who moved to Gainesville in 1989 to finish her education. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and Conservation (BSFRC) in 1993 while working ¾ time as a senior secretary and raising a teenage daughter. As an undergraduate, Linda became a member of Mortar Board, received the J Wayne Reitz Medal of Excellence for Senior Student in an IFAS program, and also received Honorable Mention as a UF Outstanding Graduating Senior in 1993.
Linda has been a University of Florida employee for more than eighteen years and was honored with the 2007 Superior Accomplishment Award at the division level. She has almost twelve years experience with the Health Science Center Institutional Review Board and was responsible for more than forty educational presentations on human subject research ethics and regulations.
Linda learned to knit in February, 2008 and has become “addicted” to knitting, designing knitwear, and dyeing animal fiber yarns.
