Adrienne Wright was born in Philadelphia, PA, is the oldest of seven, has three children and four grandchildren. She has been employed with the University of Florida since 1998 with most of her time spent in the Department of Neurosurgery. She began as an inpatient biller, became the department’s certified procedural surgery coder and eventually began working as a research coordinator. Adrienne left the department twice in pursuit of higher education. She earned her ASN from Santa Fe College in 2012 and her BSN from Santa Fe College in 2019. As a research coordinator Adrienne has worked with Endovascular, Spine, Neuro-Oncology and Neurology.
Adrienne recently returned to the Department of Neurosurgery after working as a Clinical research nurse in the Movement Disorders clinic in the Department of Neurology. She plans to continue her education and obtain her MSN.
Adrienne’s hobbies include reading, spending time with her family and working out.
