A challenge all scientists face is explaining their research projects to the public and even to other scientists. UF’s department of Biomedical Engineering holds an “ANNUAL PRUITT RESEARCH DAY” competition in which student researchers explain their projects orally and in poster form. Michael Hermansen, currently doing his research work at Dr. Bova’s radiosurgery lab in the Department of Neurosurgery won the Best Poster Award.
