John’s Story – Unparalleled Quality Care From UF Health Neurosurgery

Ormond Beach police officer and former US Air Force master sergeant John Passalacqua travelled by ambulance to the hospital in the middle of the night in 2010 with what doctors thought were stroke symptoms only to find out two years later he had a brain tumor. John sought care at UF Health where William A. Friedman, MD, neurosurgeon and chairman of the UF Department of Neurosurgery, performed a craniotomy to remove the tumor. Watch how John is living a normal, healthy life today.
