Biography

Dr. Hassan Azari​ earned his BSc in Physiotherapy, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, Shiraz, Iran. He went on to earn an MSc in Anatomical Sciences, Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran, Iran and then a PhD in Anatomical Sciences, Isfahan University of Medical

Sciences, Isfahan, Iran in 2007. During his PhD, Dr. Azari studied for two years at The University of Queensland, Australia in Neural Stem Cell Biology & Technology. In 2009 he began Post-Doctoral Research in Neural Stem Cell and Regenerative Neuroscience at the McKnight Brain Institute, University of Florida. He became Assistant Scientist in the University of Florida Brain Tumor Immunotherapy Program, Department of Neurological Surgery in 2014. In 2016 Dr. Azari became Associate Professor of Anatomical Sciences, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Azari rejoined the Department of Neurosurgery as an Assistant Scientist in February 2018.
