Biography
Dr. Daniella Fabri, Ph.D., is a Medical Physicist originally from Valparaíso, Chile. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from the University of Chile, a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics from Heidelberg University in Germany, and a Ph.D. in Medical Physics from the Medical University of Vienna, Austria, where she focused on medical image post-processing. Upon returning to Chile, she worked as a Medical Physicist at the Clinical Hospital of the University of Chile, where she also served as a Radiation Protection Officer. During this time, she was invited to participate as a Fellow with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), contributing to the optimization of radiation dose guidelines for Latin American physicists and cardiologists.
Dr. Fabri later co-founded the Chilean Medical Physics Society (SOFIMECH) and earned a Diploma in University Teaching at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Her professional experience includes postdoctoral research funded by FONDECYT, as well as leadership roles in quality assurance programs at Clinica Alemana de Santiago and in the Radiology and Radiotherapy departments at Clinica Las Condes.
For the past two years, Dr. Fabri has been a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Florida’s Radiology Department, conducting research in Interventional Radiology and CT imaging. In October 2024, Dr. Fabri joined the Department of Neurosurgery, where she continues to bring her extensive expertise, dedication, and passion for advancing medical imaging and patient care.
