Jerzy Rokicki, MD, PhD
Jerzy Rokicki, MD, PhD, attended Rice University for undergraduate training in biomedical engineering. He was the recipient of the Rice Century Scholarship and the George R. Brown Engineering Award. Dr.Rokicki received his MD and PhD from Tulane University School of Medicine.
His doctoral work focused on elucidating intracellular signaling of a novel receptor tyrosine kinase in breast cancer. Dr. Rokicki’s research interests included neuro-oncology and stem cells.
He began neurosurgery residency at UF in July 2011. During his elective year he completed an enfolded complex spine fellowship with Dr. Ghogawala at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, MA. He joined the University of Florida Department of Neurosurgery as clinical lecturer in July 2017.
Dr. Rokicki enjoys travelling, hiking, and exploring Florida with his wife in his free time.
