March 29, 2019: Medical Physics Students Michael Shang and Michael Hermensen both received 1st Choice Residency Matches on Medical Physics Match Day.
Michael Shang will start his Residency in Medical Physics next year at Washington University in St. Louis and Michael Hermensen in Arizona. Both will complete PhDs later this Spring in the Department of Neurosurgery. The Medical Physics concentration is part of Medical Sciences in the College of Medicine at University of Florida.
After Residency training, Medical Physicists go on to take the American Board of Medical Education’s National Board Exam.
