Happy New Year from University of Florida Health Neuromedicine
As 2017 came to an end, we took time to review our clinical goals and outcomes and determine ways to further enhance the patient experience. The strides we are making in the areas of patient care and research are what propels us into the top 1 percent of neurosurgery and neurology programs in the country, according to U.S. News & World Report.
Perhaps, most importantly, we opened the new UF Health Neuromedicine Hospital in December. By fusing the latest medical technology with design and amenities that promote healing and recovery, this new hospital will dramatically transform our understanding and treatment of neuromedicine conditions and establish new medical standards in the Southeast and beyond. UF Health is building on its reputation as a destination for outstanding neuromedicine care, and we will continue to fulfill our mission to conduct breakthrough research that can be translated into improved clinical outcomes. The new neuromedicine hospital will enable us to serve more patients, and therefore increase our ability to gather vital data for clinical and translational research programs. By treating a greater number of patients today, we can ultimately improve the diagnosis, treatment and outcomes for patients now and in the future. From multistage clinical trials to new surgical and therapeutic procedures, clinical and translational research at academic health centers like UF Health will generate breakthroughs that change patient care for the entire world.
We congratulate you on your accomplishments in 2017, and we look forward to working together to move medicine forward.
