The UF Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration was re-designated as a Center of Excellence by the National Parkinson Foundation. Peter Schmidt, Ph.D., vice president, programs, and chief information officer, presented a plaque to UF’s Michael Okun, M.D., Kelly Foote, M.D., the co-directors of the UF Center for Movement Disorders and Neurorestoration, Irene Malaty, M.D., Assistant Professor, Department of Neurology, Medical Director of National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence and staff.
