Saravanan Karuppiah , MD
ARAVANAN KARUPPIAH, MD, received his medical degree from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India. He completed his General Surgery Internship from Creighton University Medical Center. He also completed his Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery Residency from PGIMER, Chandigarh -one of the most prestigious medical institutes in India. He received Diplomat in Otolaryngology degree from National Board of Examinations, India and became a Member of National Academy of Medical Sciences, India. He was the recipient of many national level academic awards for his research and quiz competitions during his Otolaryngology residency, also one of the high scorer in in-service(ABSITE) exam during his Surgery internship. He has an avid interest in pursuing his career in skull base/cerebrovascular surgery. Dr.Saravanan Karuppiah began his Residency in Neurosurgery at UF in July, 2008 and is scheduled to complete the program in June, 2014.
