Jerzy Rokicki, MD, PhD

Jerzy Rokicki, MD, PhD, attended Rice University for undergraduate training in biomedical engineering. He was the recipient of the Rice Century Scholarship and the George R. Brown Engineering Award. Dr.Rokicki received his medical degree and doctorate from Tulane University School of Medicine.

His doctoral work focused on elucidating intracellular signaling of a novel receptor tyrosine kinase in cancer. Dr. Rokicki’s research interests include neuro-oncology and stem cells.

He began neurosurgery residency at UF in July 2011 and is scheduled to finish in 2018. Dr. Rokicki enjoys playing soccer, skiing and working out in his free time.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.N.S. in biochemistry.
