Shands at UF is located in Gainesville, Fla., on the University of Florida campus off of Archer Road (SR 24), about three miles east of I-75, exit 384, and one block west of U.S. Hwy 441.
Parking information
- The visitor parking garages are located just off S.W. Archer Road on the west (Mowry Road) and east (Newell Drive) ends of the hospital.
- The fee for parking is $10 per day regardless of state-issued disability permits. However, both patients and their visitors may claim a voucher from a nurse’s station or the front desk to cover it. It must be presented on exit from the parking garage.
- Shands shuttles are available from 7 a.m. until 8:45 p.m., Monday through Friday, to transport you from the visitor parking garages to the hospital.
- Valet parking is also available Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. The valet parking booth is located along the curb in the front circle of the east entrance to the hospital. The cost is $13 per day per car, regardless of state-issued disability permits, but a $10 dollar voucher is available from a nurse’s station.
